The Legacy

Shortly before his death at age 80, Henry is knighted by Queen Elizabeth, the first golfer to be so recognized for service to the game
In his day, Henry was perhaps as well-known for his enviable wardrobe, extravagant parties and over-the-top lifestyle as for his athleticism, relentlessly competitive nature and myriad charitable and professional interests.
Some called him arrogant. Some called him irascible. Some called him a showman. Henry Cotton may have been all of those things and more. But one thing is for sure, Sir Harry lived life to the fullest and leaves a colourful legacy behind.
